White Bowmore 1964 43 Year Old 70 cl

This limited edition release was distilled on the 5th of November 1964. The spirit was filled into six bourbon casks then lad down to mature in the distillery's famous vaults. After more than forty three years, the bourbon oak wood has infused the Bowmore spirit with light luscious vanilla tones.

This is the second in a limited edition trilogy of outstanding Bowmore single malt whisky. The bourbon casks have given a very subtle golden hue to the spirit with delicate fruity notes on the palate. Only 732 bottles were obtained from the cask, but the result is outstanding.

TASTING NOTES

Colour: Golden syrup.

Nose: Gallia melon, mango, papaya.

Palate: Hits of mixed exotic fruits, vanilla and maple syrup with just a trace of Bowmore peat smoke.

Finish: Surprisingly cleand and incredibly long.
