Bowmore 21 Years Old Port Cask Matured 70cl

This limited edition expression of Bowmore has been completely matured in ruby port casks. The spirit was original distilled on 10th March 1988, and filled in to the hand selected fresh port pipes. After 21 Years of slow maturation, the rich Bowmore whisky has been influenced with a delicious sweetness from the port casks.

 

The result is stunning: a Bowmore deep ruby red colourl the aromas are rich and complex with stewed plums and damson jam with a hint of gentle peat smoke. The palate is packed full of luscious autumnal stewed fruits balanced with just a hint of the Islay sea air followed by subtle peaty smoke. The finish is long, warm and delicious.
