Auchentoshan 50 Years Old 1957 Cask 480 70 cl

The Auchentoshan 1957 is a very special and unique whisky. Matured in Spanish sherry casks for 50 years, its age is only matched by its superb and complex taste. Only 144 bottles were collected from this cask, making it very rare indeed.


Deep bronze in colour with initial aromas of light, fresh eucalyptus balanced with a butterscotch and treacle sweetness. A splash of pure mineral water releases hints of ripe soft fruit and fresh green apples. On the palate, mild mint combines with sweet light treacle and dark chocolate. The finish is silky smooth, complex and delicious.
